Sous Chef

Job Overview:
The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes. This role involves assisting in menu development, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing menus.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory, food cost, and reduce waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Step in for the Executive Chef during their absence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong culinary skills and food safety knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
